Mentorship Program | CACN

The Canadian Association of Child Neurology (CACN) Resident Representatives run a Mentorship Program for our “Junior” members.

Since the Mentorship Program was started in 2017, it has successfully connected dozens of pediatric neurology residents with staff pediatric neurologists across the country. Mentorship is a rewarding and beneficial experience for mentees. Pediatric neurology is a diverse specialty, and we aim to connect you with a mentor who embodies your interests (career track, subspecialty, etc) and has valuable experiences to share.

The program is open to Canadian pediatric neurology residents, in PGY1-4. Residents must hold a CACN Junior membership. The CACN mentor-mentee relationship formally lasts 2 years and we expect that pairs connect 3-4 times per year (virtually and at the CNSF Annual Congress, if possible.)

We encourage child neurology trainees to take advantage of this opportunity to create connections with mentors across the country!
